Bolt on some Frankenturbos + meth and you have an 11 second DD on stock internals.

The drive train is stout, from what I have read once you get around 5-600whp you should be concerned for the 2.7t block. That's when the vr swap comes into play.

Still, I'm leaning towards a solid 400whp setup when the k03's go.

Audis always remind me of the saying "the two best days in a sailor's life are the day he buys a boat and the day he sells it."

The four rings look sexy covered in soap.

What else is sexy covered in soap? That's right, boobs.

Boobs are attached to women (mostly), and what to women need?

        Love.

Since Audi's and Boobies look great covered in soap, and boobies need love to be reliable, then the only logical conclusion is that Audi's need love to be good cars.

So next time you see an Audi, be sure to give it a hug. This is all just one big misunderstanding.

Also, I need to pick up a new oldschool S badge.

I've heard that the old 80's Quaottro V8's were stout. (?)

              Bump.

Poor reliability? I like to think of it as a trade off.

Oh, come on. Even I can pull on a 370z. By the look of that IC behind your bumper you can take on much faster cars to show us.

It's hard finding cars to put up good races. Come spring I'm going to try to get out to some of the meetups for some good ones. I'd love to race a Z06 or similar class car.

I wouldnt underestimate a 370z. You might find that one that isnt driven by a tool and actually has power.

I wouldn't shy away from a boosted one either. Chased that guy from about 20mph and had to let up a couple times. All in good fun, win or lose. I don't think their going to get much over 300whp without boost though. A rough guesstimate for my car should be around 400-450awhp, torque is probably about the same.

I love the 370z very fun car. Got to play with a new one when I worked for Nissan.

The B5 chassis is probably the only Audi I like. Other than that, I would never own one. I stopped working on these things on the side because they weren't as profitable as I thought. Combine the retarded engineering with cheap owners who want the badge and not the responsibility of taking care of the turd, I say fuck that.

With that said, I still want a B5 S4. lol

Owned a 98 A4 for 15 years. Really liked the car but I put a lot of money into maintenance. Eventually took it in to the shop and asked them what I should do with it after the turbo went out. They responded "sell this thing immediately." They said it would be over $8k to fix everything wrong with it. Sold it. Won't do it again.

Found this thread as I'm messing with the cursed b5 headlight switch for the 3rd time in my year of audi ownership.
