E30 tax is more like Jalopnik tax.
Anything lightweight, rear wheel drive, minimal to no driver aids and 5-/6-speed is going to increase said "tax", not just Jalopnik.

I've been spending a lot of time on SpeedHunters recently. Its very digestible (photo heavy) and they cover the kind of cars/events I'm interested in.

Oddly enough, I think he bought Doug's old Aston and is continuing the useless and uninteresting Aston articles now that Doug is gone. Yawn.

This is actually a bit alarming, and I'm seeing more of this mentality.

I had a marketing/advertising agency contact me a few days ago. They were selling "positive reviews" for products and yelp/google reviews. Seen this with facebook "likes". I think we're at a strange point where reality is more and more removed from the online "enthusiast" experience.

You'd be surprised at how many Yelp / Google reviews are fake and paid for. Take those reviews with a grain of salt.

Just look at the enthusiast car world these days on Instagram. Everyone is building their cars to get more likes and followers / haters...not because they actually want to build it that way.

I work in digital advertising and if that party you describe is not telling users they are a paid for endorsement that is fraud.

This happens all the time now.

                      ...oh look, ANOTHER Aston article.

I’ll go out on a limb and say that no one wants their hand built sports car to blow up in their face, which is why having a warranty is so common on cars not exactly known for their ability to fend off calamity. However, I’m here to tell you what it’s like when you don’t have that important safety net in place, because I willingly threw mine in the trash.

I find it hilarious that an article was written on removing a fuse in the aston martin lmao. Hyped it up like he got his hands dirty.
                        Jah bless! :pimp:

What's even better is the comments where he almost justifies it.

Stupid. Why fuck with something if it is covered under warranty? I know curiosity is strong with some individuals, but it shouldn't be with this car.

For those who were asking about other websites that some of us use. I personally use Car Throttle for most of my car news. They write some decent articles, but there is a lot of BS that goes along with them, like buzzfeed type lists and quizzes.

Jalopnik has been shit since they switched from the old traditional webpage style layout to the awful, poorly designed white layout. Remember it? This minus the top bar.

Wert, Spinelli, even Hardigree, they were what made jalopnik great.
