I'm surprised it took this to make so many people jump ship. The compression they run and their site layout was enough to drive me off years ago.

Started uploading to Flickr. Let's see how this works.
Edit: God damn it. I'm remembering the thing I liked about PB, it was the share link that was automatically created for you, even with IMG tags for forums. It's almost as if they were making it easy for you to share your pictures on 3rd party sites
Edit: how do I get a shareable URL from the Flickr app??Last edited by IronJoe; 07-04-2017, 05:37 PM.

I wasn't using some image hosting web site that went tits up a few years ago. I lost hundreds of pics because i also wasn't willing to pay ransom for them.
I do feel you guy's pain who are effected by this. I have been using image shack ever since. I have to pay about 30 bucks? A year or so. I've been happy with it as a whole however.sigpic

I should have known then and there to switch, but paying the $30 was easier than rehosting. At least then they gave you a threshold, if you didn't exceed your allotted bandwidth you could use it for free forever.

interesting point. maybe i'm just paying not to get ass pounded with sandpaper wrapped around the shaft. the web site is easy to use and its easy to select links to post in forum threads. easy to download from my android phone, computer or iPad. seems like a small price to pay but then no one has ever mistaken me for a computer savvy guy either.sigpic
