i dunno... owning a rifle designed to be belt fed, yet reserved to semi-firing would be kinda like living in a brothel filled with chicks being forced to wear chastity belts. 1/3 hole use potential + constant tease = fail
at least it looks coolLast edited by jalopi; 04-10-2015, 11:07 PM.

On Tuesday the Minnesota Senate will vote on the ominous public safety bill which includes a little gem that would legalize suppressors. It was said our douche nozzle governor would veto the suppressor legislation if it ever got to his desk, there is hope it will still pass due to it being included in the omnibus. I'm not spending my money yet, but I have been window shopping the Silencerco Spectre and Osprey...

So my local shop finally closed up. I had a feeling something was going on, when I picked up my Mod.2 45 (ordered from KYGunCo because my shop couldn't get one), their consignment rack was full of nothing but antiques.
I can't really say I'm surprised. I went in there a few times looking for items that should be on shelf (Eotech XPS, for example) and was always told they could order it. For the Eotech, I went down the road and picked one up at another shop same day for a better price.
Still, sad to see it go. I've been using Guns and Ammo warehouse in Manassas since I moved here for transfers, and have purchased a few firearms from them in that time. I'm 99% positive they got wiped out by the other shop I referenced earlier, Virginia Arms Co. You walk into that shop and the walls are lined with equipment. Always packed, its like the damn wal-mart of gun shops, great for finding stuff, but it lacks the appeal of an old fashioned Mom&Pop gun shop that I have memories of visiting with my Dad.
