The moderator of Thursday's vice-presidential debate
Damn Old'n'Slow you're pretty brave to be arguing against McCain/Palin on a pretty much red website. I wish I was more well versed in politics =/. I'd try to back you up. Unfortunately character assassination is all I can do for now.

Stop name calling, you come off as a douche.
So you callin' yourself a douche?
note:
my name is red but it has nothing to do with my political association
You are as desperate as fox news was for "reporting" this. I don't think either candidate is really worth defending but just the fact that you antagonize this issue, and anything related to the democrats, just helps perpetuate the shit slinging that degrades our election process.
Really, how does Fox News get away with calling themselves 'fair and balanced'? I don't think a more blatant lie has ever been promoted on national television.

Spend some time and prove it wrong and Ill vote for Obama!
Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

Those folks at Fox sure as hell know how to make him look like the Anti-Christ.
I'm not much of a political wiz, but that just makes no sense. Do you really believe the Democrats would elect someone like that to be their nominee? It's not like they all met in the cafeteria and were like, "Hey Jim who should we nominate for Presidency"
"Oh I dunno Bob"
"Well we are democrats right"
"Yeah so?"
"Well why not a Woman and a Minority"
"Gosh darnit Jim thats a bright idea"
"Who though"
"Oh why not that young Black senator from Illinois? I think his name is Obama"
"Yeah and Hillary! That'd be swell"
and then the high fives ensued.
How can you be so trusting of the media? And of Fox news? When several times in this thread people have criticized CBS. I mean come on, whats next? He's strapped with C-4 and he's going to blow the white house up when he gets in? Seriously dude, I think your fear and paranoia are driving you to believe insane things.
Or maybe some of us just aren't being fearful enough...dun dun dunnnnnnnnnnnn
The only thing I see is people are so ready for change that they will sell out to someone like Obama that promises what they want to hear. But in the end will be the first to bitch when things go wrong or point the finger at "Bush"
the Sheep of America!

You would vote for obama if I proved you wrong? :weak:
I don't care so much for any politicians past as much as I worry about how they are today. Smearing some one's past, including Bush jr's spotty record in the national guard, is as sad as an attempt as a cartoon show going to space to save its falling ratings.
You will not get much respect if call people who are acting exactly like yourself sheep.

The sheep have allowed the deconstruction of America under Bush.
You are the genius that opened a business that was reliant on oil when big Oil was in the White house.
Palin's attack delivered on the McCain campaign's announcement that it would step up attacks on the Democratic presidential candidate with just a month left before the November general election.
They are desperate!
"We're going to get a little tougher," a senior Republican operative said, requesting anonymity because he wasn't authorized to discuss strategy. "We've got to question this guy's associations. Very soon. There's no question that we have to change the subject here."
Right. Change the subject from "we don't suck" to "they suck more".
Very desperate.
I spoke with my brother this evening about this. We've always been on opposite sides of the table politically, but we've managed to keep it civil. He is a senior vice-president with a well known financial firm-about as Republican as they come. He says he fears these attacks will backfire. He says the GOP has done this "terrorist association thing" to death. It's the only card they have left to play to a public weary of being told "be scared". When all you have left is to come up with wild accusations and conjecture masked as "breaking news", well, you're probably finished.
McCain abandoned Michigan last week. This was thought to be his best pick up state. I wonder what he will abandon next, besides his dreams of the Oval Office.....
Desperate. And disinformative.
I liked this jab:
(economist) Holtz-Eakin also sought to couch Obama's plan as a step toward ``government-run'' health care, repeating a charge that McCain has been making more frequently in recent days.
``The Obama plan will create a brand new government-run health plan at the cost of $243 billion a year -- a financial burden of more than $3,000 a year on American families,'' Holtz- Eakin wrote.
The annual premium that a health insurer charges an employer for a health plan covering a family of four averaged $12,100 in 2007. Workers contributed nearly $3,300, or 10 percent more than they did in 2006.2 The annual premiums for family coverage significantly eclipsed the gross earnings for a full-time, minimum-wage worker ($10,712).
Doesn't look so bad now, huh? Either way, you're going to pay less.
McCain's plan is tax credit based. Fine. But what if you pay no taxes? My business has yet to show a profit. Under his plan I get nothing. No thanks. Even if he gives me $5000 CASH, which the plan doesn't allow, I will still have over $7000 in out of pocket expense!
And yet McCain is still out of touch!
Interviewed on his campaign bus Wednesday afternoon, Mr. McCain said: āIām giving them a $5,000 refundable tax credit. I believe that that takes care of the overwhelming majority of Americans.ā
How's that work, John? $5000 takes care of a family of 4 who pay $12,000?
Oh wait, Rush, Hannity, and Co. probably have an answer..... Gotta stir that shit, boys or you won't get paid.
