Craziest shit you've done at work.

So I was at work today, and a customer called in stating his Debit card was stuck in the ATM machine at another bank. The whole time he was screaming at me and using "goddamn it", "what the fuck", etc.

I almost told him I would destroy him. I was also going to tell him I was going to go to his listed address and burn his fucking house down. I almost did this because I partially dont give a fuck about the job, or the reference in the future. The other part of me almost did it because of sheer rage.

That prompted me to post this thread. What is some of the craziest shit you have done at work, or when you were quitting/getting fired. Since I didnt actually do that to this guy, the craziest think I can think of that I have done at work was:

1. Wheelied the fuck out of a new Seven demo road bike
2. Ghost rode a Trek Madone 5.2
3. Dumped a bunch of oysters in a trash bin, then picked them out and served them at the Bar Mitzvah that was going on.
4. Drove a golfcart through a river on a course I worked at.

I gotta think of more shit.

The craziest thing I did was completely flip out and beat up the General Manager at a dealership I worked at just before I stopped drinking...

I actually don't really remember kicking his ass...

I do remember pissing on his desk though.

I hear ya man... I work at a credit union, and dealing with customers can be fucking shitty.

Earlier this year, Hannaford compromised about 2 million debit card numbers nationwide (2000 being associated with us), and I had to make about 300 phone calls that day, telling people I was canceling their card. You would think that they would be happy we were looking out for their asses.




I worked at a Subway once and we used to make smoothies out of the subs and get people to drink them... good times.



edit: my friend worked at a golf course and we used to take the carts out at night.

I believe I took down an OC-12 for Wells Fargo at one point...

And the VP of some company told me I cost him $150k because I didn't get their DS3 up in time and they missed a project deadline.

Before me "important" job, I got hammered while working at a lube shop/car wash. Other then that, I never really intentionally did any stupid shit though.

I never did anything too crazy, mainly because I'm the type of person who has had few jobs and kept them for long periods of time. Although, i was a line cook at a restaurant once (briefly) and i got pissed at my boss for stiffing me somehow (this was like 5 years ago, i don't remember)... cursed him out thoroughly and then walked out in the middle of a SLAMMED lunch shift leaving everyone completely fucked

I had this SHITTY job as a dishwasher/busser at a cafe/bakery while I was in college. The owner was a total bitch, and would make people come in to work even if they were deathly ill, or threaten to fire them. She made me come in once with a fever of 104, coughing and about to keel over, and I couldn't afford to be fired, so I went in. The next day, I called the health department and she got fined $5000, meaning she couldn't go on vacation. At which point, I told her to fuck off and quit.

I told my manager to "Suck my fucking balls you crypt keeper looking mother fucker"

He looked like the crypt keeper. I didn't get fired until 3 weeks later, and they fired with without reason so I got paid.

And did a large amount of doughnuts on the ice with the Zamboni.

Craziest shit or most dangerous? Where should I start?

Tried to pick up about 15 tons of steel (a big platform) on the top of a tank/vessel at 300 ft in the air without all of the bolts being fully cut out and causing the 250 ton crane to start leaning over and then the platform "popping" loose and bouncing around.

Climbed up the side of a steel column, that was about 16 inches wide, while hanging beams from about 15 feet off the ground all the way to the top of the column about 60 feet high.

One of the last jobs I was on we all got laid off on the same day without any notice. When we all got on the bus to go to the parking lot the guy driving the bus stood up and turned around and asked if anybody else wanted to drive and I hopped in the driver's seat. When we got to the parking lot I then proceeded to get the bus stuck in the mud in the ditch next to the parking lot.

There's probably a lot of other crazy shit I have done but have forgotten.

Craziest thing I ever did at work was took the e92 m3 out of the show room (I work for bmw) to blow the smoke out of as a custome was coming to look at it and drive it. Drove around like an old lady for awhile when I was out of sight of the dealership I had some fun. Roundabout drifts some fish tails. When I came back to the dealership a porsche gt3 was following me. It was the guy coming to look at the m3. As I got out of the car he comes up to me and says dam that was some nice driving. Well he ended up buying the car and I got to drive the gt3 home.

I once worked for a small water utility, about 900 connections, and fell asleep after my boss left, when I was supposed to be monitoring the chlorine levels in the outgoing water supply. Luckily, I woke up about 10 seconds before the high alarm went off.

Pretty dumb on my part and dangerous. I never fell asleep again.
