    That's bad logic.

If there is a god, how do you know you are believing in the right one? Just because your parents and friends and rabbis, preachers or imams say so doesn't make it so.

Besides, if god can see into your heart, won't he know whether you are a "cover your ass" type of believer, or not?

Lastly, if god can do anything, and heal anyone he wants to because, um, he's god, how come he can't figure out a way to heal amputees?

definitely not, my family practices Islam in the right way. In Islam you cannot force one to follow or do something that one doesnt want to. I can preach about Islam to you but I cannot force you to become a muslim, you have to accept it in your heart. Its my duty to raise my child as a muslim but I cant force them to practice it once they are at mature level.

My parents did teach me about Islam but growing up in the U.S, you kind of question yourself about other religions as well. Since everyone around you is something else.. So I did my research and I studied other religions but like I said Islam made more sense to me. So thats what I follow and I respect other religions at the same time..

Judaism, Christianity and Islam have similarities but have differences as well.

    1. Judaism does not accept Jesus as son of god/prophet or Muhammad as a prophet, main reason Muhammad was not from the same tribe as the previous prophets.
    2. Christians believe in Jesus as son of god and dont accept Muhammad as prophet even though the gospel of Barnaby mentions Ahmad who later was named Muhammad.
    3. Islam accepts Adam all the way to Muhammad as great prophets and muslims believe in the 3 books before the quran. The books the werent altered obviously..

Right, sorry. We were talking about christianity and islam so it just slipped out. But that's my point... they were all modified by human's who claimed that god told them something. So how is Islam make more sense than any other religion? The creator of it thought more like you?

If there was one religion that basically didn't change it would be much easier to believe in. However, putting your belief into a religion requires just as much faith in a few people's interpretations as it does a god.

And it had nothing to do with your parents?

Perhaps I shouldn't use the word all. But most all forms of christianity, eastern orthodox, and I thought islam stemmed from Catholicism in one way or another.

    My bad.

Quran is the final chapter and the correction of the first 3 books. Quran was given to an angel by god and then given to prophet Muhammed pbuh. The original quran still exist and has never been altered.. We believe in many prophets starting from Adam to Moses, Jesus and finally Muhammed. Muhammed pbuh is the only prophet that actually succeeded with the message of god thru his preachings. Islam is the youngest religion but the fastest growing.

also search "prophet muhammad the most influential man in history".
