first, nobody hates obama. like clinton, he'd probably be fun to hang with, drink beer, shoot hoops, oogle at bodacious ta ta's etc

but, he plays the worst kind of politics, which is class warfare/envy.

study your history of why this country was founded in the first place, ie limited government, all men are created equal, pursuit of happiness etc. obama is 180* on what he stands for from the founding fathers.
the government is not here to make things equal and fair. it here to ensure equal opportunity to be your (YOUR) best, not to make you and me equal. its so much bullshit.

he needs to get the fuck out

Come on, those ideas are like 200+ years old, they have no understanding of the world we live in now, they would have written them differently if they had iPods and BlackBerrys. It's time for a change, we should all live the same, and have access to the exact same genetically engineered 2000 calories each day. Once we get rid of money, people won't rob one another anymore. We should get rid of the guns to help people stop robbing and attacking helpless individuals with high capacity assault rifles. While we are at it, we should provide everyone with the same clothing, produced by nationalizing the cotton industry, that way, we will be able to determine who is working for the US by the condition of their mandate issued clothing.

I tend to think of Obama as more of a moderate.. the extreme right sees him as a commie, but I think it's a matter of perspective. In any case, given the choices of canidates, he was obviously the lesser of two evils. Mcain and Palin? Ugh. Actually, Mcain by himself doesn't bother me much, but Palin has to be the dumbest politician of all time.

unfortunately, we aren't going to have good choices this next time around either. Actually, in all the years I've been eligible to vote, there have never been any great canidates. GWB? No. Kerry? Fuck no. Al Gore? well, maybe before the global warming BS. I could have gone with Hilary had she run, but I don't think that will ever happen.

maybe Newt? At least he's got some experience working with the other side.

how about you back up your statement with some facts.

the same could be said of republicans or democrats, there are crazys in every party.

if you can't back up your statements, they are just opinions and loose validity.

So many of the principals that founded this nation are now bat shit crazy ???

So small limited govt that allows you and me to do as we see fit with our lives with little govt intrusion into them is bat shit crazy???

Low taxes and free markets in which to innovate, create wealth for your self and others, and prosper is bat shit crazy???

Being responsible for your self is bat shit crazy ?????

All of those things are at the core of the Tea party peeps, and also the core of the founders of this nation and why they fought and died to separate them selves for a oppressive detached govt, and founded this nation.

Like I said study some history please

People who quote Carlin as some kind of great thinker and something other than an entertainer is funny to me.

Dont get me wrong, he has some thought provoking bits, and hes funny as shit. But far from someone to base you views and back political arguments with.

i have always for the most part voted along republican party lines, but for too many years, it has been a choice of the lesser of 2 evils.

yes, i threw my vote away with Ross Perot the first time he ran because i liked his ideas.

i did not like Mcain/Palin, but voted for them anyways becuase i did not like the idea of all three branches being controlled by the same party. no checks and balances with everyone voting with party lines.
i also did not like the lack of experience the Obama had.

if you really want to effect change, start looking at who represents you and vote for change there.

the president sets the tone and has the power to veto. it is the senate and congress that make the bills and add the pork and riders that waste the money.

                              real change will start there.

I'm all for not letting the government control every aspect of the economy, but honestly if the government stopped trying to keep things in balance and allowed classes and corporations to roam free it would be chaos. Your success in life would not be determined by how hard you work (aka The American Dream), it would be determined by who your parents are. The wealth gaps would be unimaginable with the top 1% playing God. That's not what the founding fathers had in mind.
