the usa is headed into a recession in 2012
the 17 country eurozone is the biggest economy in the world and is entering a recession as i post this. plus, thanks to government overspending, debt of countries like greece, portugal, italy and spain are now worth less than face value. all the banks own the debt, and it's hammering their capital ratios necessary for lending money. the european bank system is starting to lock up and will make their recession deeper and longer. 20% of usa trade is with europe.
unemployment is headed up
the economy is going to look like a bigger bag of shit in late 2012 than it does today

I reaaaallly to say this, but Romney is the most likely one to be successful. I think he can be perceived to be just liberal enough to get people to cross over and most republicans are going to vote for whichever candidate is nominated. Im not a big fan of any of them and especially not Gingrich.
As far as the republican polls going back and forth to romney, perry, cain and now gingrich....i have a hard time believing any of that. Are democrats being encouraged to identify themselves as republican when called, and swaying those polls?! If not, then i have even less respect for the overall psyche of the generally population in that they are that god damned wishy washy.Comment
