I'm not disagreeing with Iran being radicalized by the CIA. But think about what you're saying. Where is ISIS located? Iraq or Iran? Iraq used to be a very secular country under Saddam.
I thought this was a pretty good post about the middle east although it starts with mentioning why Pakistan is shitty, corrupt, and sheltered Bin Laden.

Fun fact 2. Pakistan is probably the largest and primary victim of terrorism itself. The media fails to report on it. Pray for Paris is great and all but what about the recent massacre of a Pakistani school full of children. This selective prayer bs really gets to me. What about the thousands of muslims dying from the hands of Isis and other organizations?
Pakistan and muslims are primary targets and have far more casualties by terrorists then anyone else. What's funny is all these organizations link back to creation by the US or UK.
The US and UK governments were dedicated to undermining and overthrowing the secular nationalist Egyptian President Nasser so they funded Islamist organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.
In Afghanistan, the Western governments funded the extremist Mujahadeen. Afghanistan used to be a secular, progressive country where women could vote before 1979. Remember our buddy old pal, Usama?
The Western governments also support the most extreme radical Islamists of them all, the Wahabbi Saudis, whose madrasas pump out thousands of clerics who travel to all corners of the Muslim world to spread this ideology.
In fact, virtually every radical Islamic group today, from AL-Qaeda to Hamas has their roots in collaboration with Washington and London.
In his book, 'Secret Affairs: Britain’s Secret Collusion with Radical Islam', Mark Curtis goes through the history of the region in meticulous detail. Curtis found that, far from being enemies, virtually every major radical Islamist group has been nurtured, trained and funded by Britain for five reasons:
“As a global counterforce to the ideologies of secular nationalism and Soviet communism”
“As “conservative muscle” within countries to undermine secular nationalists and bolster pro-Western regimes”
“As “shock troops” to destabilise or overthrow governments”
“As proxy military forces to fight wars”
“As political tools to leverage change from governments”.
The two British objectives in installing or maintaining radical Islamists in power are:
“Influence and control of key energy resources, always recognised in the British planning documents as the number one priority in the Middle East.”
“Maintaining Britain’s place within a pro-Western global financial order.”
In the 1990s and 2000s the UK and US embarked upon massive wars and occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan, killing millions and completely destroying societies. This is at the heart of the rise of extremism in the region. It should be noted that ISIS' heartland is in what was, until the 2000s, the most secular part of the Middle East, Iraq and Syria. However, those countries have been so destroyed as to leave much of the population feeling there is no hope, and have proven a fertile recruiting ground for ISIS.
In other words, the governments of the UK and US have funded and trained radical groups in order to better control the resources of the region. The fact that this has made their citizens far less safe is of little consequence to them, and of even less consequence, the lives of the people of the Middle East. This obviously isn't all there is to say on the topic of extremism, but I think it's an important factor.
Therefore i leave you educated in this matter just a bit more. Islam is a scapegoat these terrorists are using and it happens to be the only lifeline and hope many of these victims have. Do not forget in the process we killed millions to clear our way, in return we left many orphans and family members who seek revenge. Pray for the world and fuck terrorists and those involved in creating them.
As I finish typing this, remember that many muslims just died that you will not hear about by the hands of Isis and other inhumane breeds of animals. Please do not be ignorant and blame billions of muslims.
