If their aim was to stop rifle projectiles, they'd switch to plate carriers.

My favorite right now is my .308. Bought it with money I had saved up when I was 14. Weatherby makes some nice guns for an inexpensive price. And fairly cheap to shoot.

Shit here i can get a Barrett .50 cal, I know a couple people that own them too. My next gun is gonna be a ar-15 style Remington used for hunting. Most deer I see hunting are on the run. So spray and pray is the only way sometimes.

When a deer is running full speed, you got two options. Let it go or pump rounds at that bitch until you get it or run out. I usually let them go. But two years in a row now ive had giant bucks on the run and if i could just eliminate the bolt action i would of had them. Having to pull the action back while its on the run lets to much distance between you and the deer. If I'm sitting and i see a deer. I wait until i get a perfect broad side shot and take it. So maybe i should of phrased that differently.

I've been trying to get into archery but we dont have any land that is good for archery. Most deer I shoot are about 100 yards out. Or on the run. Most deer we shoot consist of us walking tree lines and chasing them up while they are bedded down. We are trying to build blinds on our land to help us get closer shots. It just takes time and when we aren't hunting the land its full of cattle. Nebraska just last year legalized crossbows during rifle season. Also archery season here is in September, October. It to warm then for deer to be moving like they do at end of November in rifle season.

In Washington we have a ton of public land, even if our game populations are shit. I have noticed a massive decline since wolves moved into our area. Fuck wolves.

You for wolves. We got cougars. A town about 100 miles from where we hunt thought it would be a brilliant idea to bring baby cougars in to control the turkey population. Now the lion population is out of control.. Really has us hunters on edge.
