Nah, "evangelicals," or at least those who support DT won't change at this stage. Just considering all of the other things that have come out, I don't see this being the last straw.

Do you sincerely think evangelicals might side with the party endorsing infanticide over Trumps shady impeachment based on moral grounds??? And that they would then pressure their senators so hard they would switch their support of the president in favor of impeachment........ think before posting.
There isn’t even going to be a trial.... Pelosi is fucked and she knows it. The justice dems backed her into a corner by forcing this whole sham, and she is having to eat a shit sandwich because of it. They are being destroyed from within by their own insane creation of “social justice” bs.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Your right, not living here has nothing to do with what Evangelicals think about Trump is correct, but it does have everything to do with knowing what they think. Which clearly, you and the author don’t. But keep up the hope, but don’t take it to hard when it fails.
I would get some new sources of American news though, your being setup for disappointment by your choices for information.
How many people stopped supporting Trump over Syria?
Oh yeah none. They may have disagreed but last I checked, every Republican and even a few Dems supported him in the House Impeachment. Thinking adults can disagree on certain things and still support someone.

The ignorance on display here is astonishing. Every insane thing the Dems are doing just solidifies Trump's support and solidifies the Dem's base. The pure definition of preaching to the choir. As such, it is a huge waste of money and time for everyone. The danger for the Dems is that it just motivates the Republicans and Independents to come out and vote against insanity.

Either we are facing single party control, permanent political deadlock, or the emergence of a third party. I'd regretfully bet on the first currently, but hope for the last.

Why does anyone think that Trump is a Christian/Evangelical? Do any of his actions support that? None that I see. I see that he seems to be less of any other Democrat evil as far as rights/abortion, but he still has helped sell your rights even more.
Ben Carson most likely would have been the Evangelicals vote, but people don't want to waste their vote letting in another Clinton or Obama, because they are voting along side the lukewarm conservatives, along the "Christians" that say but do not do, alongside all the other votes against the democrat party and their overall "evil" to this country.
And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. - Thomas Jefferson

So its ok for the D's to vote on party lines in the house to pass something you agree with, but its not ok for the same to happen in senate because you dont like it??? Partisan much?? This is what happened with Slick Willie when the senate voted along party lines to "protect their own" but I am sure you were/are just fine with that though. how far off am I here?

Democrats didn't go hard enough in the paint. They went for expediency. People do have Impeachment fatigue though, so I get that.
You know this as well as I do, as does everyone else, this all just a party line, sore loser attempt to unseat a duly elected POTUS, and fulfillment of campaign promises to blue congressional districts around the nation so those up for reelection this cycle will get to keep their seats for 2 more years .
How in the hell was this abortion of procedures to get 2 articles anything close to expedient in your mind?????

This is the best thing I have seen come from this whole fiasco and its from a D running for president. Go Tulsi (Bold added by me for emphasis)

I could not in good conscience vote against impeachment because I believe President Trump is guilty of wrongdoing. I don't understand.
Do these politicians fight who is quicker to transfer hundreds of billions of dollars from American taxpayers to corrupt Ukraine in order to support democracy?
At the same time, these politicians never democratically ask Americans if they want 25% tariffs on German cars and 50% tariffs on Chinese auto parts.

People vote for pre-selected candidates who take office and then make choices for their constituents based on a variety of reasons. If the constituents don't like said choices they can choose to vote for another candidate at the end of the term.

Does anyone here know last week Republicans and Democrats voted to increase our Defense Budget to an insane $740 BILLION dollars and create a new branch of the military? We already had the highest Military spending a zillion times over. With just the increase the President wanted and our government gave him we could've had healthcare for all here. It's insane.
How do we get a truer 'Democracy'? We need to get big money the hell out of our politics. I actually like seeing and hearing all of our differences here, or out and about when I meet people. It makes it real and interesting. What I can't stand is being force fed the will of special interests, that are bankrupting this country, and that do not nearly reflect the will or the wants of the majority of us regular people who are out here scrapping just to get by.Last edited by phillipj; 12-23-2019, 01:24 PM.1990 BMW 325iC Triple Black Hard Top, Self-Wrenched, Original Owner Family
