Actually, implying that all Norwegians are terrorist Christian fundamentalists was not the point. It was obviously an isolated case. But, knowing how Trump's uneducated pea brains actually work and how he expressed affinities for the "good guys" in the Neo-Nazi factions that demonstrated last summer, well, it is difficult not to highlight that Norwegian terrorist. it does have a racial connotation when you use that word to describe countries/continents that are primarily black or mixed ethnicity, and then say that you want to immigrate people from a scandinavian country instead.
