Then why are you so upset over your lemon of a racecar? I read your thread and it was pretty much a junkyard engine...why are you so mad? If anyone here sounds offended over the engine it is you. I pulled this off the site of Lemons racing...

"Endurance racing for $500 cars. It's not just an oxymoron; it's a breeding ground for morons."

Junkyard cars are 500.00 and you must race there a lot!

You obviously care; enough to insult a lemons car by calling it a junkyard pos.

I don't think anyone actually racing lemons feels the slight bit offended.

I'm glad you are offended as an admitted r3vtard.

We used to call them "dinged" engines. Their bell had been rung. Just a matter of time before they let go after that.

I can totally see how taking it to 7000-7200rpm on a regular basis would do the same thing.
    exact IDEA;

I wanted to express that for long term running a deviation from STOCK 6,000 is a bad idea.

Buncha r3vtards who cannot read well jump in and start blaming other things.

50 hours is a decently long time and 1,000 more rpm than stock on stock parts is not good for durability.

    Where and how?

Nobody gives a shit about opinions from crybabies and whistle blowers who don't actually race

tell AKG their solid mounts are shit, I could care less.

    pschye out ftw
Nah man, i think whats going on here is that you have pissed off people that know what they are talking about by talking out of your ass. More to the point, its the fact that you don't know enough to know that you're talking out of your ass.

If one has spent any time at reading the context of LEMONS RACING then nothing needs to be said about lemons racing.

the "damage" was 50 hours of endurance racing - engine was just doing its job. Perhaps ask your favorite PAUL BURKE for his opinion?

I don't understand what is so interesting about the fact that it wore out; nor the massive amount of butthurt some r3vtards feel when shown what actual racing stress can do to an engine.

the valve spring retainers cost is $3.90 each on real OEM; not expensive - a non-lemons team would be best just buying new pieces x 24.
