I placed an order for the 15x8's yesterday with a buddy who works at Discount Tire. The availability date is now 12/24, but I'm hoping active orders may speed that up. I spent 1.5 hours looking at wheel and tire choices, including some $400 each SSRs, and nothing came close in terms of size (not many 8" wheels), price, weight, correct offset, and looks: I think these look pretty badass. Anyone click the "View these on vehicle" link? I think it's worth the wait; I just hope that's not next summer. Anyone considering a set of these may want to place a pay-on-delivery order, and let's see if they show up faster!sigpic

Well, since I'm gonna be going through LOTS of tires, I wanted something super-sticky and cheap. That leaves only one option, really: The RT-615. But they only come in 205/50's for the 15" wheel, so I'll just have to see if that's enough tire. If not, I guess I'll just have to spend $140-$150 per tire, instead of $90, and get some proper 225s. Then there's the consideration of overall diameter. There are only a few 225/45s in existence, and the 225/50s are all around 28.5" overall diameter. I wanted to stay down in the 26" range.
Oh, and markseven, mine's a red 91i, with an iS lip too. Hehehe...sigpic

Those tires should be in the 23"-24" range...
