Oh I understand, but the wheels I listed are sold a TRACK wheels. It's what everyone uses for the low cost spec series (e30 & miata). They are all around the same price, same weight. If you went by cost, then the Rota's might even be the most expensive, therefore by your logic, it's one of the best of the bunch ($ = quality). I was just saying, there's much more to it then cost, and buying expensive wheels based on that fact alone isn't the best option. The TR wheels are $99 a pop. That's dirt cheap. They were MADE for racing use though...Comment

If the caliper came loose, it would be bouncing around, and as the spokes passed, would be bounced back in by the first of the two spokes to come by.Comment

Is track use more demanding or regular DD (I guess it depends on the number of potholes one encounters). If track use is more demanding, then your point doesn't make sense :-D
