That rubbing is likely due to the wheel bending inwards. Also, why are only 5 of the 10 spokes marred?

    Keep it slideways!!

For a DD I'm sure these are all fine.

      However...

If you are 110mph in the straight aways and the brake discs are glowing cherry red into the curves...
Oh I understand, but the wheels I listed are sold a TRACK wheels. It's what everyone uses for the low cost spec series (e30 & miata). They are all around the same price, same weight. If you went by cost, then the Rota's might even be the most expensive, therefore by your logic, it's one of the best of the bunch ($ = quality). I was just saying, there's much more to it then cost, and buying expensive wheels based on that fact alone isn't the best option. The TR wheels are $99 a pop. That's dirt cheap. They were MADE for racing use though...

If it was due to the wheel bending inwards, I think all the spokes would be hammered.

If the caliper came loose, it would be bouncing around, and as the spokes passed, would be bounced back in by the first of the two spokes to come by.

Oh, yea. Thanks alot.. Pawn your junk off on me :)

They are painted. I like them for my DD cabrio.
thx. Im still going to use them for the track, despite what I read. The design of the slips seem more sturdy than the ones on the civic. Im not one to beleive everything I read on the internet, Ill take my chances.

Is track use more demanding or regular DD (I guess it depends on the number of potholes one encounters). If track use is more demanding, then your point doesn't make sense :-D

The slips I bought two years ago are still holding up very well. Few potholes, some gator-strips at the 14 or so DE's I have on 'em.

Sup Kish, why the Kazera for track use? Are the slips street-only now?

Nice! May i ask how much thetrack setup cost?

I'm still on the Azenis (treadwear 200). I can't wait to switch to R's... maybe two DE's down the road.

TR had a closeout on the kazera's@99/wheel. BFG R1s are $178/tire in 205/50/ZR15. Great tire.. highly recommended.

The slips are coming to me hopefully and will be redone flat black.

Hopefully they don't end up like my old ones on the prelude
