Can we get user location back in the user info on posts/replies?

I feel like we used to be able to see where someone was from (provided that they supplied it) on their posts. While generally this wasn't all that useful - it's very useful for marketplace postings! Any chance to get this enabled/brought back?

    TIA!

I used it all the time to see who was local and who wasn’t. Not just in marketplace but for meetings and people needing help with stuff.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Without locations the Canadians might just blend in, and we wouldn't want that, eh...

I have to assume James isn't done with the site upgrade. He had a family member pass. Give it a bit of time, and we'll be back in business.

In the meantime, you can see a member's location by clicking on their username under their avatar in the left panel which opens their Profile Page, then click the ABOUT Tab and their location is shown there (as long as they've provided it in their profile).

Sadly vBulletin removed the default functionality and I need to create a JIRA in order to solve it. Given the past issues with upgrading forum versions with custom templates I'm going to vote we hold off on this for now.

Yes, when someone posts a want ad for a hood and give no location, I just click away.
