Autoban should be a last resort for any part you need. Their prices are way high. I am surprised that they can come close to Robert's deal and as Matt stated Robert has the correct parts for the E30 swap. Knowing your skills with the E30 you are better off just fixing what you have.

Do m20 head gasket. Way easier. And you probably won't run into any small problems that can set you back huge amounts of time.

Also, if a tank of gas is a deal breaker, you don't really want it that bad.
If you're set on 24v anyway, I say just do a new hg and bolts. It'll run you less than $50 and hold you over till summer. The 'do-it-right-ers' might disagree, but that's what I'd do in your situation considering money/time/circumstance.1989 325is / 2.7, 274 cam, e30 M3 5-lug
