Nice score Mike, once you get the timing guides sorted out I want to go for a ride. Next up would be the 6 speed swap. The more I drive the 540/6 the more I like it. The torque is addicting.

    Cheers,

as a fat guy id like to confirm that the e30s back seat is tiny, but it does have oddly long seat belts

you can get a PP M5 rep bumper with fogs from DDM for like $150. Wide grills $40. Makes a huge difference!
Hella euro angel eyes are big bucks...but there's always DEPO or DJ Auto lights that look pretty damn close for half the price.

+1. With good E39 M5s ~$15-20k they call to me more than an E46M3. Trying to also score a 540it for my mother as well.

Sadly, I've promised my 6-speed to someone else's project already, so I guess I'll be looking for another at some point in the future.

Even clacky as it is, it runs silky smooth and I'm loving it!

As of now, i'd really like to get late model headlights and front bumper. I'm pretty happy with everything else cosmetically in and out.

Morning, be sure to check the CPS man

But seriously the advice there in the thread was a good start but also make sure the ECU is still happy, I always worry that the ECU will fry after any minor electrical mishap, as it always seems to go that way.
