I can probably get my hands on my old roommates little pressure washer. I was planning on using some purple power and some simple green. I was also thinking about cutting off the old brackets I wont need anymore like the resevoir bottle bracket, airbox bracket and a few other little ones.

Simple Green is great if it can soak in it over night, but just splashing it on it doesnt do too much...gunk is what I use, spray it on and about 30 min later start working it off, I like to use a soctch brite and brake cleaner as well

Be careful with engine cleaning products that are caustic... Leaving them on too long will etch the aluminum.

Paging Nigel this what are your thoughts on the following Scenario's?

Scenario: A car is traveling at 50 mph. Right above the sun roof of the car a bird is traveling at 50 mph. If the bird glides down through the sunroof, what will happen to the bird once it no longer has air resistance pushing against it? Will it fall straight down, or hit the back or front windshield?

Scenario 2: A car is traveling 50mph. A bird traveling 50mph is traveling right next to the open driver window. The bird glides to the right, into the car. What happens?

                Also Bernoulli lied...

The bird will stall and just flap down on your face and take a poop.

Falls to the floor because there is no high pressure force under the bird's wing (which creates it's lift) when it enters the car.
Then you cook that shit and eat it with sriracha sauce.

Yeah man, couldn't put all that torque to the pavement.

P.S. we're interviewing the head of BMW NA live tomorrow morning from CES, which will be streaming on usatoday.com around 9am if you're into that sort of thing. He probably won't have anything to say about e30s though :(

^I've been eyeing that 8 series....

and the E90 is a pile of boring.
