Fix what needs to be fixed, on the cheap, flip it and make money. Whatever money you were going to spend on interior, suspension, wheels and body can be used to dump into either a better sorted car(e36m3) or the 240 you want.

I am perfectly fine with having a 325i as a daily driver. I sold my e30 and I regret it all the time so I want to keep this one and make it super nice.
