Always called it a carrier bearing.
If it is bad, all u-joints need to be replaced at he same time.
If you don't, trouble down the road.
While you're down there, don't forget new seals. Cheap.
Looking for a drivers side comfort seat.

Anybody have or know of a place that has a loading dock that I could have a crate engine shipped to. In or around Burbank.

Apparently a fork lift is not enough, needs to be an actual loading dock

Went to go take a look at it, they had taken the output flange off and some water got into it. I walked away from the deal. It's most likely pretty toast right?

You'll find another one. Its worth it to really know what you're getting.

I was thinking of going the rebuilt route. 700$ or so. Lifetime warranty. What you say? I want to give a used until more chance after that i'm pretty set on the rebuild and be done with it.

I paid, if I remember correctly, around 400 for one with a one year warranty from lkq, 700 is a lot. Honestly, 260s are super reliable. I'd rather have a used one that works correctly, then one that's been opened up
