Really depends on where you live. R12 is illegal here and expensive, lines leak, compressors are old and saps power from the engine. The system also weighs a good 30lbs+ altogether. AC wasn't something I used much anyway living by the ocean so deleting it just made sense after all the refrigerant was gone. AC in the vert? hmmm I never needed it. I'm fine with just the blower motor. Tinted windows/car covers and garages help.

Didn't end up taking the e30... Got it running perfect yesterday, started and fired right away and idled like a dream. Put $45 of gas in (most it's seen since last year) and when I went to pick up my buddy it was stuttering and missing like a mofo. Died on me at a major intersection and took forever to crank and start. It will run perfectly for aminute then start the nonsense then switch at random every minute or so

I don't use it a ton because whenever I turn the AC compressor on it bogs down the idle which kinda sucks

It's supposed to raise the idle when it kicks on.
