I went to the Sheriff's Dept. to sign off my mother's brake light infraction and this is the second time they sign it off without even checking.

So if any of you mugs have any exhaust infraction tickets and don't want to change your sweet setup, just go and see what happens.
Worse case scenario if they come out and say lolno, just say Ok the mechanic lied to me saying it was fine or something, and come back.
Worth a shot I guess considering a friend of mine was let go in the same manner for one.

Same thing happened with my mom when she gets her no front plate fix it ticket. They don't even come to check if the car has a front plate. They just sign it off.

Not in San Pedro. The deputy not only checked for a front plate, he checked it matched the back one, tags were up to date and he was still sweating me because the ticket says gray 4 door bmw instead of black. He even asked for registration!

BTW, CHP will sign off fix it tickets for free.

+1 I only go to CHP, I once went to torrance for a front plate ticket they wanted 35$ on top of the fee :rofl:

Driving home from e30Picnic last year I hit two really poor bridge transitions in the middle of the night going 80mph on the I5 south with poor visibility.

The second hit I was following a big rig and had no warning and we def caught air. I pulled over and checked my wheels which were fine and that surprised me immensely. I got home later only to notice one wheel had a bit more camber than the other. When I bottomed out the force was strong enough to bend the bottom of my drivers e30 M3 strut tube where it meets the knuckle and the strut tower. The H&R race springs and aged bili sports couldn't handle the weight of the s52.

Style 32's are strong wheels though.

Probably because the 32's have so many spokes (material) to redistribute the kinectec force throughout the wheel evenly. I think suspension wise you need to step it up to Koni's and ground control if not moton's

Though at that point the motons would cost as much as your swapped e30 on the market.

I got a ticket from the CHP IN Big Bear for no front plate,tint,not having current address on lic. One of my customers was a Sr Staff Stg L.A. Sheriff Dept. I showed it to him,he laughed and signed it off and said Merry Christmas. HAHA
