What do you need done? I've only been to one shop and they oversprayed onto the whole car. The door they replaced doesn't line up. They didn't reassemble the door innards well (window kept rubbing the cables). But they did the work for cheap so my car wouldn't be totaled. (It wasn't the e30). Soooo, interested?

That's where I got my car painted. I don't know what budget you're working with but talk to Nate there and tell him I referred you. He can probably work with you on pricing. I paid a considerable amount less than that albeit 2 years ago though.

body shops are like hookers, you get what you pay for.

however, I've had different things (sideskirts/lip/spoiler/valance on the lagoon green car included) painted at random shops in south LA all looking great and costing dimes on the dollar and have turned out great for me so far. i guess it can be hit or miss, like hookers

All I wanted was my core support replaced, passenger side painted and my drivers side rear quarter panel fixed where it was hit (previous owner) and they came up with that amount. I actually did talk to Nate, sounds like a chill dude, but the quote he gave me was outrageously high.

repaint the entire car, intensive body work including re-structure of the radiator support is going to be expensive.
