so replace the CSB, you're going to remove the driveshaft anyway, it takes 15 more mins to swap the mounted bearing.

edit* if you must be Mguiver-y you CAN mate the front of your shaft with the back of his. (still having to take the shafts apart)
AND you may have to replace the output flange on your transmission depending on the guibo size (giving yourself more work)

so replace your CSB, do it right and save yourself extra hassle.

The CSB's are interchangable, between auto/manual. But the early vs late csb is different.
Buy a new one and swap yours out.

Thanks guys. New CSB it is. I'll also replace the flex disc too since the rubber has a cracks. Ireland has both, I should be able to pick it up soon. Any tips about taking out the shaft, or is it pretty straightforward? How could I also check the U-joints?
It's real fuckin dirty down there, can't tell if the trans output seal leaks or it's all just road grime.

as easy and straight forward it is to pull the driveshaft is, its a pain in the ass doing it on the floor.

Please help me save my E30!!
I need some help I need to get my car running and I've run out of ideas. I runs but sounds pretty bad. I was all good until I did some maintenance like all gaskets and cooling system and cap/rotor spark plugs fuel filter fuel pump. The only mod I did was put in newly rebuilt 19lb injectors and a chip to match from mpowerful here on R3v. It started as a jumpy idle and I figured all this maintenance stuff would fix it but now its worse. If tried using multiple afms, fpr, cps, and ecus but it makes no difference.

                  Here's what it sounds like.

Pls hlep R3v my parents are getting fed up with car because its been sitting for months as i hardly have time for it since I go to school and work full time. They want me to sell it and a buy a new car. This time something reliable with 4 cylinders and fwd. Please don't let this happen lol. I've already put so much work into it, its my first car and its taught me so much.

Any help is extremely appreciated. If anybody is in the SGV and can lend a hand I'd really appreciate it in will to pay you or trade some e30 goodies I have.
If not any advice would be awesome as well thanks guys!

@Rdannyr; get a hold of Yert315, he'll help you sort your problems out. He's a mobile mechanic and has a thread here with feedback. Good luck.
