How about Castro Motorsport in North Hollywood? They are a BMW shop with E30 expertise and they might have a stock muffler laying around.

Mine does that as well, but not real severe. I want to rebuild my diff as well with more lock, but $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Maybe when I'm done with the other 15 things I need/want, lol.
I think that's normal yes? Mine will not burn out straight. It'll get sideways big time.

Has anyone felt unintended acceleration on a 24v E30?! Its fuckin scary!! hahah I need to fix this problem ASAP. Anyone know where to get a E34 cable the fastest (and not get raped) way possible?

What scares me is if its something else, but I cant think of anything else that will cause the car to hold rpms. I literally was hitting the brakes, foot off the gas and the car was like FUCK YOU FASTERRRRRRR

Simon, maybe the cable is snagging on the throttle?

I looked at the ~3 inches of naked cable under the throttle body and its a little frayed already, Im thinking its getting hung up inside the housing preventing it from allowing the throttle to close and the car just wants to go.

BTW Terry, I just realized you still have the QUKBMER plate, right? That means you need to get a plate for the muscle car, something like QUKCMNO ;D

Anyways the car has no exhaust from the cat back, just straight pipe lol.. Its annoyingly loud, so I was wondering if someone could suggest an affordable muffler shop in the valley that could help me out. I live in North Hollywood and work in Canoga Park..

I want to do a magnaflow or borla system eventually, but need something in the meantime while I save my money..

                  any suggestions are appreciated

                  thanks!
Cheapest suggestion is, to look in the parts for sale thread and find yourself a catback/muffler piece of stock exhaust and keep saving for that better system. You're probably looking to spend, no more than $50 and.......... it's a DIY job, which you can tackle in 1 hour.

                  good luck.

Ecs tuning, I paid $34 for mine but, I didn't pay for shipping as I was making an order for about $800 when I bought mine.

I feel like shipping on ecs is way more expensive than the item itself hahaha

You have to buy $75 worth to get free shipping.

Unless it's brakes. I looked at the $324 kit, and shipping was 75. Bummer! Pretty sure most companies won't cover that cost, because brakes
