LOL i dont even have a car right now.

long story short. Wife and my car got stolen a month back and we need to find a car. Wifey got the new 340i and i decided to have no payments and get a e30 for my 3 mile commute to work.

        :D

My spal died on the way to work today. :(
I guess it's a good opportunity to rewire and run the temp switch too.

A/C in an E30 is awesome... and so bizarre

I just fixed mine on friday after 5 years of not having any... Amazziingg. I had it on the lowest fan speed and was freezing since i’m used to the damm heat. Haha

I'm jealous of you guys with AC in your e30s.

I'm debating putting it back in with the swap. It was useless with the m10, you could barely accelerate when it was on.

I kind of want to try to make one of the new electric compressors work, so you can mount it wherever.

If I could redo my build I'd put it back in.

I do too, but my other car is actually a vintage car, so the daily needs A/C...

Glen, it shouldnt be too hard to add it back in. Im guessing you removed the lines up to the firewall area right? You have to get inside the car anyways to replace the expansion valve, and the o-rings, so thats not a big deal. As far as the A/C lines themselves, you can probably use OEM, just not sure if the OEM M30 or M20 ones. Get a new parallel flow condensor since its apart and you should be on your way.

when the AC is on. It feels like the car aged 10 more years lol.

                            Love the cold air though.
