It's not a '68 Mustang, is what you're saying ;) My main concern is the mating surface being truly flat again, with that piece that broke off. And then I assume the weld would be porous due to the impurities in the metal. I've welded one pan before, and it took a while to get a decent result.

Mailed to her hotel? Not a bad idea. Thanks

Any trick to getting the wiper motor off of the linkage? I have all bolts off, the 3 that hold the motor to the linkage and 1 that connects to the linkage arm but it's not budging after trying to split apart. The linkage arm snapped off at the driver side post/hinge.

It abrades the rubber as it rotates and wears it out much more quickly.

Well that was fun. If anyone needs to do their wiper linkage I can totally supervise and tell you how to do it while I sit back and watch because f that job, I never want to do that again.

Was your linkage just stuck from age? Or is it a poorly designed setup?

While you're in there, just do the mono wiper for scene points. ;D

I honestly thought about it. I had a plan to make an adjustable version with a turn buckle but as I started to work it out it was going to be more pain than it's worth. Besides, I'm on air ride now so who's gonna care about the mono wiper.

LMAO, you know that was a big thing back in the day. Everybody would just delete the drivers side wiper and move the other one up or in the center.

I deal with 2 giant driveways every day, my oil pan can't take it anymore. Air ride was the best solution for my needs. I haven't take it for a cruise through the canyons yet but if it sucks I have a coilover kit ready to drop in and I'll just have to ride high.
