It's definitely worth going even if you don't show your car. They really go all out with the whole period theme and everything, it's just an all-around awesome time. I was really close to driving to the Bay Area for the one they had up there.Comment

Does anyone have a Getrag 260 transmission for my 89 325i? I visited the junkyard and what used to be an abundant amount of e30's so no more. I've had no success in grabbing one yet.Comment

I got a set up that I'm not trying to split, but I got it advertised for $700. Don't know what you were looking to pay, from my understanding going price on trans alone is about $350 to $500 now.@IRON-E30 aka Edwin:DComment

Theres an exhaust shop on the corner of La cienega/Venice. They do a lot of high end and euro stuff. Im sure they can handle your needs.@IRON-E30 aka Edwin:DComment

3C or something like that? I had them do the exhaust on my Roadster. It was just a 2" straight section, but they did a good job. I hate to wait a pretty long time on a SaturdaySimon

Good morning SoCal e30s, had a chance to walk around the vintage show early morning on Saturday. Got to see lots of money thrown around in the e9s, e10s, e21s, e28s, e23s and the likes.
Good show, but the e23 that won *best driver car of the show* was not even on my top 5 list.@IRON-E30 aka Edwin:DComment

that was a comedic "best of show" at best. I also saw some very well done cars, and walked right past that car everytime I saw the shaved rear end... Seeing who the owner was makes me question HOW those votes came in... she couldve gotten my vote too if there was another way she was getting them
I also went back on Sunday for the French & Italian show.. and WOW. I could only stay from like 8:30-10:30ish so I missed Jay Leno and the crazy Fiat he brought, but I saw and got to sit in one of my favorite all time cars..
