    Dear Vivert,

After dealing with the smog nazi's of CA, my suggestion is to get a new cat welded on and a fresh O2 sensor if you haven't done so already. If you're really close, you can dump a bunch of ISO gas line treatment and it might knock you down a couple points, but to be fair, the amount of money you'll spend going back and forth and chasing down these problems. For your hot rod you can probably get all this said and done for 400 bucks including labor. I have over 230k on my original cats for my e36 and they've been on their way out since 190k at the last smog check two years ago. SMOG is tougher each and every time! I'm going to do new cats soon, so I say just pony up a few benjamins and be done with it for good.

Getting a ride on a B17 is easy, getting a ride on a B29, not so easy. The reason the costs are so high, its $10,000 per hr to fly the B29. They aren't making any money doing this.

Blah. Woke up this morning on my girlfriends bed, packed up her whole room including her bed and frame, drove all the way to Vegas, unpacked everything, set up her bed, and now I'm just lying here haha.

Very weird feeling spending your whole day essentially moving a bed 600 miles to put it back together and sleep on it.

But we did a lot more than just move a bed.

I'll try some other suggestions before going all out with a whole new cat. I drove my car around 200 miles today which was a blast. I've read a lot of really good reviews and the guy who was working at Kragen (I basically know them all) when I bought guaranteed to pass said only one guy had it not work for him. I think I'll do that, check my plugs, check for air leaks, then see how the car smells and take it back to the smog station.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

The most important thing is that the car and cat are HOT and you rape the hell out of the car directly before going to the smog station. If it cools down too much while you're there ask him if he'll pre-test it for you to heat it back up.

I just drive my cars for 30 mins, nothing crazy just warm it all up then just leave it running while he fills paper work. I've passed every time. Your cat is only going to get so hot as you drive it fast because wind cooling, it will get hotter if you just let it sit and run because no air flow. Just rev it for a lil bit for some extra heat before he drives it in also.
I had my M3 at smog place the other day and all the dudes came over asking questions, there was a hot girl working their and I just kept thinking "why don't you come over here god damn it" she was the responsible one and kept working, sucks. I rolled up in the Mtech then rolled up in the M3 for 2 test back to back, test guy was like "WTF" LOL

Idk, if that thing is worth $10.5k that would make my car worth somewhere around $5k, I quite like the sound of that so I'm going to agree with him. Also, you can't forget it has one of them Manuel transmissions. I hear that guy does great work. ;)

It was $575 for the rear seats. We also were able to get up and walk around but we couldn't go through the tunnel that runs over the top of the bombay. We were able to go back to the tail gunner spot.

I really wish I could have been able to afford a ride up front.
