FYI you have to pull the hub to replace the dust shield. Soooo, new bearings is a good choice.

I'm sorry spence but do everyone a favor and get someone that knows what they're doing to do your rear wheel bearings. I had a rough time with them and I would say I'm fairly handy with cars.

This is true. there are a lot of people out there with 10,000 dollars into their photo equipment and still taking terrible shot.

tbh looks not better then a cell shot. The high key does not show the sharpness of the lens. yes makes a good IG photo but, does not shot the quality of the photo equipment.

Also your shooting in broad daylight. try the same shot at dusk and your camera wont hit the focus point.

your shot also shows the failure in focus. notice that your AI point was on the hood emblem. that then should be in the center of the focal depth, not that back of the focal depth. This is evident by the fact that ALL of the ground in-front of the car is in focus and the second row of text on the hood is starting to blur.

But yes the 5D3 is a far superior camera.
HDR isn't hard to do even with the 60D. I'd rather take a six shot bracket and then merge them in HDR Pro instead of the three shot bracket you get on camera with the 5D3. You probably had it on the wrong AF setting where it refocused before every shot, its easier just to put the lens on MF.
While you can blame me for only using the center point AF, I even sent the camera back to canon and it did come back slightly better. however, having so many of my shots ruined by the slow focus and mis-focus became unbearable. and if you shoot over 400iso on that camera the gain in the shot makes it un-usable. where as on the 5d3 i have no issue shooting up to 12800. and then to top it off, the earlier canons cant use any SD card pass class 10. which when shooting brenizers like i do a lot, tends to ruin them.

                  Spence, told you! teehee.

Honestly nothing on an e30 should be that hard of a job. Just find a DIY on here or somewhere else. Use the right tools, take your time.

I am going to Tahoe today, my sister is letting me borrow her camera, and yeah it is a Rebel it is still fun to shoot with. Plus, idk shit about taking pictures so its better than my phone. I am leaving VV at 6 so should be getting to The spot around 830ish. Should be a perfect time to take pictures.

If I didn't have to save for rent this year then I would love to pick those up, but I don't have the cash for that right now. I will be getting some 205/45 for those xxr wheels I have and running those until I can afford some other wheels. The weaves on the eta will go to the four door.

                                LOL OKAY.

What's with all this talk about hitting focus points. Out of all my lenses one has AF… Try shooting with manual film era lenses without a split prism, no AF, with basic metering and then tell me about focusing.

That is the phenomenon knows as BOKEH. I think I took that shot at f2.8 which caused the second row of text to become blurred. If was going for sharpness I would have shot it at f4 and got the whole car in focus.

If I recall correctly this was shot @ f2 hence the very small DOF.

Typical photographers now a days… You guys rely too much on AF and when it doesn't do its job you all get butt hurt. I've only needed AF when I was shooting sports and even then the 60D had no problem focusing a 70-200L in low light with high ISO. Learn how to shoot manually, like full manual. Put the camera in M and your lens on MF go out and shoot somewhere. It makes you pick your shots a lot better than running around spraying everywhere on full auto.
I've used a 32gb 45mb/s class 10 sandisk extreme card on most canons that use SD cards and they've had no problem even with burst fire.
