The guy doesn't have the mounting kit anymore and agreed to $350 shipped. Rack doctor is $430. So I would save $80. Seems like a little better deal, still not sure.
My problem is I need to order a new rack asap, I don't have time to drive a bunch of cars with different racks. Maybe I'll just go oem for now. Fuhh

I have an e36 rack installed in mine, bought refurb'd from RackDoctor. NOT worth it. Still slow like the e30 rack. Save up, spend your dough on something nice.

Yea I can agree with it slightly being a POS. It had what I wanted though - clean paint, 5spd, coils, crack free dash, etc. I've got my work cut out for me.Comment

What about steering rack upgrades for those without power steering? Ive heard the non-m z3 without power steering is horrible... that basically leaves the e36 or the z4Simon

That 2-year warranty is half of the loan term.
I can't work on my own cars where I live now because the HOA doesn't allow it. So if it isn't some retard-simple shit that I can fix by checking fluid levels or electrical connections, it's got to go to a shop, and there goes a bunch of otherwise disposable or investable cash.
So. I want a new car, with a turbo and a manual tranny, and a warranty that has the same length as the loan term, so if something goes wrong, it's somebody else's problem and I pick it up when it's fixed.
I can rant about this a little more on Friday, if ya want. Right now, I want to know if there's a good car out there I'm missing.past:
