    I ended up just forking the $50 over. I never trust junkyard stuff with hydraulic components; take my master cylinder for instance..
    If they are easy to replace I woulsnt care trying two or three before forming out $50.

      I don't think maintenance has anything to do with it.. Shoddy build quality? Maybe, but let's try letting Pants explain the situation before pumping him full of lead? Heheh :nice:

      @Marco
      Well.. I wouldn't be surprised if they worked off the bat, but I wouldn't trust the longevity. If your strapped for cash, junk yard is a quick fix, but if it's not on your eventual "replace-with-new" list, be guaranteed you'll be running into problems eventually. I do junk yard grabs all the time though, but the thing I'm replacing usually gets put on my list.

      At least look for cars that looked they they were haulin to the wall before they got crashed. Cars that look cherry means that their actual parts blew over, so those are the ones that have the bad parts. Cars that looked destroyed have the good parts

        So were you running nothing but a cat on your car? Like just the headers, down pipe (hope that's the right name) and cat?
        The first car I ever rode in was an e30

            This. After fixing my driveshaft I didn't tighten down the cat to muffler flange well enough and the bolts sheared, I had ran it like that for a month so it wasnt a big deal to me until after my cat broke off of my car on highway 80.
            Basically I don't care that much for my e21 and now it has bitten me in the ass.

              How loud was/is it? My car was super annoying to drive without a muffler when I had it like that. It sounded amazing at idle, but your ears were numb after 20 mins of driving.

                Hahaha!
                No headers made my car into an F1 car. Straight up Sebastian Vettel status haha :mrgreen:

                  with headers and cat it sounded great but after a certain RPM sounded like a honda lol and it was sorta annoying for long car trips, would make me feel like i need to pop my ears.
                  after the cat was sheared off? its loud as fuck man, there no way of being quiet at all..... and back fires like crazy hahaha its pretty awesome but its soooo illegal i will not drive it like this.

                    So I just pulled the trigger on a IE 22/19 sway bar kit. FML peace out $500.

                    Anyone around here have experience installing these sways? My shop is owned by a purist, so he's gunna be pissed I'm not going OEM, and my other buddys shop wants $250-$300. I'd rather do it myself if I had a few buddies to help me out. :nice:

                    Food, weed, beer, lemonade, whatever the fuck you want lol.

                      Ive removed sway bars before. The front is definitely easier than the rear. Both are doable without a shop. Let me browse for the links that i used.

                          I haven't tried to push on the new end links, but the rear one that I removed from my dad's car was super easy, and it shouldn't be too hard to put back on when we're done.
