TEM Machine here in Napa would likely do a good job. One of the guys there has an E28 as a daily driver. He's a big BMW fan.

If you're up for making a trip to San Mateo, call Cardelli Motorsports. I've had 2 m20 flywheels lightened in the last year by him ($120 each time and quick turnaround).

My friends had an s52 head rebuilt by him, as well as a pair of m60 heads. Those took a little longer, but quality work.

fixed my e30 this weekend. it's so fun driving it again, it's been almost a month.
carpet delete didnt add much noise, i can hear the drive shaft now and i hear more ticking from the m20 but the weight loss is noticeable.
