Hey Chris,
Is it possible to pull the roof skin off of an E36? Like easily/without cutting the shit out of it?89 325i (Sold)

I think it's fairly straightforward. Terry Fair has done it, you might just poke around vorshlag's site. I'm sure he documented it. As far as I've seen, it's just a matter of pulling the headliner and all interior/exterior trim, windshield, rear window, 1/4 windows, and then some spot welds.Comment

May have averted the need to pull it. After further investigation I'm not sure that the roof of a 95 coupe actually comes off at all. It looks like it is all part of the unibody and C/A pillars unless it is just covered in a ton of body filler.89 325i (Sold)

The roof is removable, I believe it's just a few bolts holding the skin in underneath the rubber weather strips.Comment

I would have gotten non-adjustable if they were available haha, I don't care.... I had the strut tubes sent to GC to be put together when I bought my coils, they cut and welded em, welded on the m3 mounting point, and powder coated em. I had to buy new endlinks since the mounting points changed.
