Shouldn't be an issue, might break eventually, but no real reason to stress out imho.

Or you could run without a sway, and understeer like a mofo.

The chances of it breaking are slim. It is just metal on metal contact that is making the noise.

            Hey Chris,
Is it possible to pull the roof skin off of an E36? Like easily/without cutting the shit out of it?

I think it's fairly straightforward. Terry Fair has done it, you might just poke around vorshlag's site. I'm sure he documented it. As far as I've seen, it's just a matter of pulling the headliner and all interior/exterior trim, windshield, rear window, 1/4 windows, and then some spot welds.

Clark, what nefarious schemes do you have for your E36?

May have averted the need to pull it. After further investigation I'm not sure that the roof of a 95 coupe actually comes off at all. It looks like it is all part of the unibody and C/A pillars unless it is just covered in a ton of body filler.

what is the purpose of adjustable endlinks if you never adjust them???

The roof is removable, I believe it's just a few bolts holding the skin in underneath the rubber weather strips.

I would have gotten non-adjustable if they were available haha, I don't care.... I had the strut tubes sent to GC to be put together when I bought my coils, they cut and welded em, welded on the m3 mounting point, and powder coated em. I had to buy new endlinks since the mounting points changed.
