just buy a helicoil kit from NAPA or something, it comes w/ a tap. Wie do you need a die?

Ugh....we are almost TO the timing belt, lol. Finishing up tomorrow, we found the coolant leak which is apparently the water cooled oil cooler? Audis are the dumbest, most awfully engineered machines I have ever thought of even existing. I am simply amazed at the lack of thought put into the design of this car. WHY THE HELL ARE THERE A MILLION DIFFERENT CLIPS. Everythings a clip, and they are all a different design that you just have to guess how they come un-done. GRRRR.

OT: Does anyone know what could cause an E28 clutch pedal to fall to the floor when the car is up to operating temp even after repeated transmission, clutch master, and clutch slave replacement, multiple fluid bleeds, and possibly a new clutch/TOB?

Dad's very fed up with the issue, it hasn't been solved in a couple years, and No, Sam, You Can Not Haz.

Has the hydralic line from the master to the slave been replaced?

I would look at the stuff that has not been replaced.
