I was curious how it was through T10 since the re-pave. Eric, if you are doing the CCA school there, they lay out the cones with a super, super late Apex which helps keep the entry speed down. When I drove it before the re-pave T10 was one of the most rewarding to get right. It's the consequences of the wall if you get it wrong...

I want a dogleg gearbox like the euro cars had. My G280 is in good condition (besides eating selector rod seals) so a dogleg would be badass and keep the origional one in good condition.

Yes, I really don't want to smash up the M5, so I'll drive it conservative. I was talking with Co (Co's BMW) at one of the auto-x's and he was telling me that he used to take 10 flat in his race car!

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

              E36 Question!!!

So I hear that M3 suspension stuff (springs/shocks specifically) does not work on base E36s.

Why, and what is interchangeable? i.e. what can I put on a base E36 from an M3? springs? shocks? nothing?

              Thanks dudes.

It works fine, you just need all of it. Control arms, top hats, swaybars, etc.

ok, so what if I just have access to the M3 springs and shocks? what other M3 stuff do I need to just make those work? What about just springs or just shocks?

If you have non-M control arms and sways you can just ignore the tabs on the front shocks.

You need the M3 top spring perches to fit the springs and M3 shock mounts if you want the camber, but I think they could work with everything else non-M. I'm not sure about the rear spring perches.

All E36 chassis' are the same. The differences lie in how the suspension mounts up.
