^ I feel that is one of very few sets of RS's with real tires on them...

I so wish they came in 225/50/15 and not the standard 225/45/15 :(

They really can't tow that much unless you have the 4th or 5th gens with the v8 but those are ginormous and heavy as hell.

My Taco is getting an LS swap when the motor finally dies just for towing. I'm doing valve cover gaskets and master clutch on it this week. Love that truck!

2nd gen @ 3500lbs sure, but 3rd gen is 5k, plenty for a sub 3k track car (so no e36, sorry) and an open trailer.

Why? That's a better size for the E30! Small gearing advantage too.

                  1. I am running a 4.10 diff and that plus undersized tires is too much.
                  2. It looks dumb

I don't drive it enough anymore to deal with swapping to the track wheels. I'd rather just keep one set on it with good track tires that doesn't look stupid.

Cut up fenders. Run 15x10's with 275's. Mucho success.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Think the M Coupe is gonna need a new head gasket. Anyone heard of a sub-50k S54 HG leaking? Think I'm gonna try to DIY it.

E36s track cars are typically well below 3k lbs.

                              I know, just poking fun.

Btw, I need to borrow/rent some 60mm springs. Length or rate doesn't matter, I just need the car on the ground this week to roll it onto a trailer and take it to my new house.

My M is around 2900 and I haven't even really done that much to lose weight. It's mostly the transmissions in the 3rd gens that have issues towing especially if you have an auto which I do.
