I LOVE finding out that parts that are "Rare" or Extremely hard to find are still available at the Dealership. I love cars.

I love when someone is selling a car or part on CL as "rare" and there are a half dozen of them for sale at the same time.

IIRC i've seen these sensors secured to the diff with Bailing Wire, or something like that. Not sure if that's how they come from the factory, I know the plastic mounting tabs on the sensor get brittle and break off so they don't get seated like they used to anymore.

Also IIRC the wires going to the Sensor back there are pretty frail to begin with.

They were secured from the factory with safety wire.

My gauges were fluttering recently, probably time to replace the speedo sensor anyway.
