Lol. Solder and shrink wrap, my man. Took about 30-45 min or so.

First, take that little metal lock ring out. Then get a thin wall 30mm socket for 1/2" drive. Use an impact and break that slut off.

Ring is already out, unless there is another one hiding?

Looked like it was still in there, but it's not after looking further. Use an impact gun though.

+1 on impact. It is standard right hand thread.

Did a quick temporary scuff and spray on the e28, it will work until I can get it painted. At least I don't have a bronzit door anymore.

Around the mall, near like best buy and what not.
