Try to keep the tape straight from the Slave Cylinder Mounting flange all the way to the end of the bell housing.

I double check kept the tape straight everything and I'm getting only a 1/4" if I place the tape at the flange and move it all the way up to bell housing end.. I still don't get half. Very close but not half.. And the tape is slanted hella upwards in that position.

Looks just like the back of my car! I like the way it looks. I plan on getting some meaty tires out back and I won't have a valance to hide them.
