That's not terrible, Back in like November or whenever it was really windy last, my buddy had a tree fall on his pretty mint w210 e300 turbodiesel...:( he's now come over to the e30 side and is putting together a swap:up:

We have published the new e30picnic site - www.e30picnic.com - thoughts?

The content is about 70%. We added write-ups from the past 6 years, but I still need to go back through them and add media to each. Will add a FAQ page up too that Lance provided.

looks nice! and awesome background. I've been doing E30's for 7 years now, and still haven't gone to a picnic. It's definitely happening this year

Anyone have an idea of how long it takes to get parts here from Germany on the slow boat?

              two weeks.

              Or longer.

It sometimes depends on customs here. I've had stuff (like my Alpina rims) just blow through customs. Meanwhile, my buddies Hartge stuff got to hang out in NYC for 2 weeks.

And the tracking often is worthless. My Alpina badges from South Africa said they were outbound from SA for a week, and then one day I got a notice they were on my doorstep.

Here's the tracking for my MTech 2 kit.

Great site. Looks awesome. Is the photo of the XXX one of the early Picnics? That's really cool to see. Brad, I can't believe you haven't gone.

I have family in South Africa and I'm currently looking in to importing cars/ parts. Was looking at a shadowline e30 (SA's e30 m3)

Yep, some of the photos (like the one with the M1) are from the first picnic in 2002. Luckily Lance kept a catalog of details from old picnics. Last year was my first year attending.

I think shadowline is just a term to describe black window trim instead of chrome. The SA version is the 320is ;) Best of luck, would be awesome if you can get it in without too much trouble!

Thanks, mine is in the "destination parcel center" so I'm guessing another two weeks if all goes well with customs.

I just like to pay for parts. I don't really need them! haha, When is good for you, I can come get it whenever. Oh and I just ordered my dimmer lights. I notice how terrible it is without it now that I have LED dome lights. It never bothered me before.

Did you ever get your one touch switches yet? interested to see how that works.

Yeah, true. But that's what my parents refer them as.

I wonder if I can get like ~275's in the rear for some grip [emoji848]

Imo 225/235-45s in R comp are plenty unless you are talking 500+ hp and bad suspension.
