Ever score? The GS6 trans for the 335i is very long, I dont think I'll need the shaft from my 323.

That would work, I'll keep it in mind, turns out my current issue is having axles with over 500k on them, my "car payment" is going torward that this month. My driveline seems to be hanging in there for the time being.

They have roughly 4" of play side to side, also very loud banging/knocking/thumping upon accel/decel with the clutch engaged.

I'm getting very close to the point of having replaced every original part on this car, there's only a few things left:

Everything attached to the rear trailing arms, although the subframe has been replaced and new bushings.
Most of the steering column is original
                  Headliner
                  Half the glass
                  And the fuel tank

In may just have the most patched up e30 in existence.

Are we talking about axle play or patches? I hope you don't have axle play, those axles/trailing arms you sold me are in good shape.

..patches. The only body panel I haven't replaced is the roof. Every section of that car has been swapped or replaced at some point in the last 5 years..

Wow what an icy drive in to work today! Quite grateful I finally made time to install the Michelin snow tires late last week.

Oddly enough I had decent grip, but the temp gauge was spiking while putting along on black ice at 10 mph. Coolant level seems fine. (Scratches head.)

wouldnt be surprised if the gauge cluster was bad.

Anytime my temp isnt sitting at 1/4 you just gotta smack the dash and it goes back down to 1/4. Although this build i will probably have a bavrest set of gauges

Ah yes. The odo and tripmeter were DOA when I bought it. Speedo and tach seem reliable but maybe the whole thing needs to go. It seemed to be making some Morse code noises back there last week.... [emoji849]
