TR6060 is just what the OEMs call the T56 magnum (rated at 700lbs of torque). It's used in the GT500, the Viper, ZR1, etc.

I didn't want to deal with any fuss that might arise from mismatching an engine to tranny and didn't want to use the gearing ratios that I found, so I went with a Hurst build of the T56 Magnum. They remanufacture them (and do things to them without being extraordinarily specific) and sell them with two different gearing ratios. I got the lowest gearing possible, so I idle at 35mph, 60mph is at 1000 rpm.

Preaching to the choir. Although, I'd say it's a bit more accurate to call the t56 magnum a tr6060 in t56 clothing. I picked up a buddies tr6060 from his 2010 camaro to slap into my car but there were quite a few differences that just made it not worth it. (fixed bellhousing, no slip yoke, trans cooler line stuff, remote shifter, etc).

I thought that they did it themselves, so that's my best guess. When you're on their site or talking to them on the phone, it seems like it's just this random division of the company. I was lucky and the guy said that the next month was a free shipping one so he gave me the deal a week early, saved a ton. I was expecting a bit more cushioning between the gears just like it would be in a comaro or whatnot, but it's not really a big deal. All in all I'm really happy with it, absolutely loved that they let me pick from 2 different sets of gearing options.

I went to the "point definace" ferry terminal today - they have a (kinda fun) go-cart track there(bumper cars - 5hp B&S things - outdoors) - for $7 bucks you get 8 laps - it was fun. - Had a good time with the little lady. Hot coco - and a mixed drink at the restaurant there.
