So for my Bday, I wanted to take a trip down to stay at my dads cabin in the Shasta Nat'l forest. Only problem is all of my cars (that are road worthy) are on coilovers, and the last part of the trip involves some sketchy logging roads, with pot holes known to swallow entire hatchbacks.
As luck would have it, I get an email last week from a lady with a '91 Mercedes 300E who wants to trade it for some junk I have listed on CL. I say hell yea, and finally worked out a deal on Monday. Now I am the proud owner of a W124 MB. It is big, and comfy, and slow lol. I spent Tuesday changing the oil, adding a cheap stereo, and praying that it would make the ~750 mile round trip. I loaded a bunch of tools in the trunk and set off. I am happy to say it made the first portion of the trip without trouble.
Stopped at the Cali sign, took picture with GF
At a "Vista Point"
And coming through the gate and over the river!
Just had to share an interesting story and some photos with you guys :)

Nice my parents had a black on black 300e a few years back and it was a fun car when I was able to drive it. Just one word to warn you. It has 2fuel pumps and they are a bitch to replace lol
