    Who here has done a clutch on an E39 540 6-speed before? I'm sure it's a pain in the ass but just want another opinion on that. Lol.

      Threw some '93-'02 gas Camaro shocks on the rear tonight. They are 2.5-3" shorter in length overall than the stock units yet increased my rear ride height by 1" or so.

          They're made for a lot heavier car so they don't allow the spring compression that the factory shocks do.

                Another forum member did a short write-up on it recently so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm actually happy about the extra height because I'll be able to run meatier tires without severe rubbage, especially when hauling people/other shit around.

                  Just an FYI, the rear shocks are the "same" from 82-02 on camaro/firebirds, if that makes it any easier to find parts. :)

                              My thoughts are I can replace the e39 easily while my e30 to me is priceless.....for now lolz
