WARNING NON-E30 POST
So my DD is a MkV GTI, and it's driving me nuts.
Problem: When i turn at low speeds, there is a loud and tactile knocking that feels like its coming from the front right suspension assembly. It's been to the dealer for regular service and for over a year i have complained of this problem, every time it's the same response "nothing". The weird part is that it comes and goes, sometimes it wont make a fuss for a month, but now it's back and worse than ever......even groaning with a slight amount of input. I know my CV's have been re-lubed recently by the dealer in an attempt to fix it, but clearly thats not the answer.
Any ideas?

Price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. I repeat: price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. That's Vagiclean. We've got a customer down here with a full-on fallopian fungus. I'm baking a loaf of bread and I think it's sourdough.

Maybe a cracked cv axel? The fact that it only does it every now and again is kinda weird. Have you tried replicating the problem? Also, sig'd

Sold the damn car, & the parts. I slept on the decision & today pulled the trigger to a buddy that was looking into another project. Picked up an Integra GS-R again & will daily drive the shit out of that. It's been fun guys, thanks for the help. 5-speed swap & engine hookup shit just isn't for the weak & easily cold (weather) guys like myself.Originally posted by James Crivellone1) The internet is NOT serious business.
