        It doesn't have a nut on it, it just tightens down the spline end of the drive shaft into the rear end of the drive shaft.

        Its a 6 sided round collar that has threads on it and I can't loosen it. might just throw it on a vice and try to not hurt myself.

            I am too. I thought that only the rear iX driveshaft used the large collar nut to tighten it down. Standard E30 should just have a 2 piece shaft with splines in the middle and flanges on the ends right?

                      I need to loosen that damn thing so I can pull it out about half an inch so I can have the threads on the Guibo pop out & throw the 3 bolts on them.
